Volunteers
![]() Volunteering at a community legal centre is highly satisfying, for both students and practitioners, as you get to apply your skills and knowledge in areas of law that you may not usually be exposed to. Practitioners get to increase their experience in taking instructions from clients and providing advice in areas of law that they don’t usually practise in. Students get to learn to do everything from helping research the relevant law, draft letters, briefs to counsel, making appointments for clients, arranging for interpreters, and taking telephone enquiries.
